Leia M. Johnson'is a multi-talented author whose debut picture book, SISTER, was written to help children navigate the emotional process of fostering to adoption that her own family has experienced. A wife and mother of four, Leia is no stranger to tackling difficult situations with grace and grit. She founded the non-profit Somebody's Mama, raising thousands of dollars to fund initiatives to help women around the globe, even climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro as one of her fundraising efforts.
